What a busy week we have had in Nursery. This week we have started making our Christmas cards and calendars - we hope that you will love them - and have also begun learning the songs for our Christmas show. We are so excited for you to come and watch us perform!
This week we have been reading the story 'The Gingerbread Man'. The children did such a lovely job joining in with the repeated refrains and enjoyed drawing the characters afterwards.
In Maths we have been comparing piles of toys and using the language of 'more', 'a lot' and less. We have even counted how many toys we have in each pile, how smart! In Phonics we have been tuning in to sounds in the environment and have been on a listening walk, played 'sound bingo' and even sang some Nursery Rhymes.
Earlier in the week we celebrated Rememberance Sunday and coloured in pictures of poppies. Later in the week we celebrated Children in Need. The children loved wearing their Pudsey gear and eating tasty buns. Well done boys and girls.
