At Five Lanes—we love to read.

Our Book Hives have been introduced so that children can regularly visit a library with their grown ups before and after school. Children can borrow a book or two for up to 2 weeks and then return them and borrow some more!

Our aim is that all pupils can use the Book Hives to:

· further develop their love of reading

·  read a wider range of books

· discover different authors and illustrators

· read for pleasure as much as possible

· make sure pupils are never without a book.

This free service is available to our whole school community. All we ask is that children look after the books and return them when they have finished.
