Welcome to Five Lanes Primary School on behalf of the Governing Board.

School governors are people from the school's community who wish to make a positive contribution to children's education.  The Governing board is made up of parents, local education authority (LEA) representatives, community governors and school staff.

Governors are the largest volunteer force in the county and have an important part to play in raising school standards through their three key roles of setting strategic direction, ensuring accountability and monitoring and evaluating school performance.

I am proud to say that at Five Lanes the Governing Board, Headteacher and School Staff work together to ensure our children receive what they deserve - the best.
