Reception have really enjoyed learning all about R.E this year. Here are some of our highlights so far; Chinese New Year - where we learnt all about how people celebrate such as decorating their homes, eating special food and attending parades with dancing dragons and lions. The children loved making their own Chinese dragons and even practised some dragon dancing. 

Diwali - the children loved learning about the story of Rama and Sita and how people decorate their homes with diva lamps and Rangoli patterns to welcome Rama and Sita home. They had a go at making their own. 

Noah's Ark - The children enjoyed learning about why we needed to be a good person to help god and the world and how we should be kind to all living things. They made their own arks full of animals too and even played with the Noah's Ark role play.
