Every child starting Nursery receives a green ‘Rainbow Rucksack’ which contains useful resources to support learning at home. Inside the rucksack you will find:

Scissors - please don’t be afraid to let your child use them!

A whiteboard and pen – so you can make marks, draw pictures and practise writing your name.

A glue stick – to use to make some wonderful sticky pictures.

Number flashcards – to play games with so you can learn the numbers.

2D shape mat – to help you learn the names of the shapes.

Pencil – to use to draw some wonderful pictures.

Toothbrush – to use to keep yourself healthy!
